“Noom” as he is called by the locals has been with UL since June 2014. He has over 10 years of experience in international development in various countries in North and South America, Africa, and Asia. The latter, Asia, is his main regional focus and he has lived in this region since 2010. His experiences range from consulting, project management, and capacity building. He has worked on issues such as refugee rights and resettlement, sustainable business and income-generating activities, ethnic and religious tensions, and human trafficking. In a developmental frame-work context he takes a special interest in Thailand and the related issues to this country. He enjoys working cross-culturally and has a particular passion and focus on organizational efficiency coupled with bringing his visionary and strategic plans to an organization to truly make them work. His working language is Thai but if you are lucky you might be able to catch him speaking his native tongue with the volunteers.
